Logging on - If you are a public user and wish to view our main ranges, click the blue enter button. If you are an account user, you should have a 'user name' and 'password' which has been supplied to you by Ness - type in your details and click the green enter button. Finding the product you require - enter the product showroom area, you will see a series of navigation buttons on the left which will aid you in finding the product you require. You can also use the drop down menus to the top of each page to select via a cataloger or item name.

Fabric Finish Colour Selection - Our 'Fabric link' button allows you to view a list of our extensive collection of surface treatments, we recommend you view swatches of fabrics which can be ordered via our enquiry page. Once you have chosen a 'range' of fabrics and selected your 'product' the price variants are provided on the 'item details' page, where you can customise your chair to your requirements. There is also a range of six standard colours provided as a basic selection. Please note when viewing colours on screen please be aware that colours will vary depending on your screen settings, it is recommended that swatch samples be viewed for accuracy.

PLACING AN ORDER

Selecting the product you require - once you have found the product you require click on the 'select' button which will take you to the 'product specification' area. You will be able to customise your product to suite your particular needs - there are 3 areas you will need to complete.

STEP ONE - select option - specify you product using the drop down menus.
Chairs  

Arms

 - can be either fixed or height adjustable
Chair Action - swivel chair action: non tilting seat, integrated seat and back tilt, synchronised seat and back tilt
Seat Height - height from floor to top of seat cushion (variable on swivel chairs)
Back - low, medium and on some models of extra high
Floor brackets - floor fixing bracket as on integrated part of the chair on table
Frame finish - painted with polyester epoxy powder (PEP) or bright chrome
Foot rest - on high stool on swivel and draughtsman chair
Hand hold - some seating has a handhold as an aid to lifting
Linking - some seating and tables have a mechanical linking device /bracket
Palette - a writing tablet for certain ranges of seating
Paneling - some seating have a stitched panel feature
Quilting - some seating have a quilted panel feature incorporating extra foam filling
Seat Pad - some seating with plastic or laminate seats are available with an additional
upholstered foam filled pad
Seat Slide -some swivel chairs have a mechanical device to alter seat depth
Tables  

Legs

 - metal or timber framing, supporting a table top
Edging -25mm bull nosed MDF with natural stain, 19 or 38mm x 5mm flat hardwood edging in beach - oak - ash - (dark wood stain available), 38mm x 19mm  bull nosed hardwood edging finishes as before
Frame Finish -painted with polyester epoxy powder (PEP) or bright chrome
Feet -injection moulded thermo-plastic ferrules (feet)
Size/Shape -width/depth in mm (metric) various shapes e.g. square, circular, semi-circular, rectangular or trapezoidal
Linking -device for temporary linking of tables
Table height -occasional tables vary 300-450mm. Dining/meeting/office 720mm
Undershelf -where available this is normally positioned midway between table height and floor
Top finish - surface finish
  of a table top:
- MFC-melamine faced chipboard
    - MDF-medium density fiberboard
    - HPL-high pressure laminate
- Veneer-unless specified will be unmatched,              random selected
Screens
Size/Formation -width/height in mm. Formation normally rectangular with a flat, wave or shaped top dependant upon screen range
Screen Head -describes shape of top i.e. flat, curved, cropped (angled) or wave
Linking -describes hinged or flexible link device allowing angled movement of screen
Feet -dependant on range 300 or 400mm flat bar foot detail to support base of screen or 300mm disc
Timber -normal construction is with beech or ash solids and veneers random selected
Desking
Size/Formation -Width/Depth in mm (metric) various shapes e.g. regular - wave - crescent (XL)
Top -Surface finish
of a desk		 MFC-melamine faced chipboard
MDF-medium density fibreboard
HPL-high pressure laminate
Veneer-unless specified will be unmatched, random selection
Frame Finish -Painted with Polyester epoxy powder (PEP)
Cable Management -Describes method of cable segregation under a desk top
Compressor Plate -Device used in filing frame to compress files
Left Pedestal -Set of drawers (pedestal) on left hand side of desk when sat.
Right Pedestal -Set of drawers (pedestal) on right hand side of desk when sat.
Vertical cable riser -Metal cable segregation with earth points that is fitted to the left or right hand frame of a desk - need for BS6390 cable installations - to take cable from floor level to desk top level.
Steel shelf -Cupboard shelf made of steel.
Roll out
filing kit		 -Filing frame for a cupboard that pulls/rolls our - normally used in bottom of cabinet.
Tambour
colour		 -A tambour door cupboard has a thermoplastic ribbed door available in silver or grey
Lock -A keyed lock
MFC shelf -Cupboard shelf made of MFC

Should you require a specific fabric, your options are listed on the 'fabric options' section.
This table refers to our range of fabrics and finishes. Each RANGE has a different price, indicated once you 'select' a colour/fabric. Fabric suppliers may be able to send swatches of their fabrics as requested. If you know the name of the fabric you require, type it into the box provided.
STEP THREE - quality - enter the quantity you require - the price will automatically be updated.

STEP FOUR - check all of the selected item details in the right hand panel - you can then proceed to placing the order - click on the 'add to basket' button.

You will now see a breakdown of the item/s you have ordered, you can still edit this or add additional items. Once you are happy with your order click on the 'I wish to proceed and order online' button.

DELIVERY
Unless otherwise stated the term 'delivery' is intended to mean within the UK mainland only and delivery periods are usually 4-6 weeks on receipt of order.
